1. Who we are

2. What we collect
- Contact details for the person booking and the passenger: name, phone number and email.
- Trip details: pickup and destination addresses, unit numbers, dates and times, flight details for airport pickups, passengers, luggage, special items and any notes you add.
- Payment information: if you choose Pay Online, your card is saved with our payment provider. Rido never stores your full card number. We keep payment status, charges, refunds and receipts.
- Ride records: driver arrival, waiting time, trip start and end, changes you request, charges and guarantee outcomes.
- Messages we send you and you send us by text, email or phone.
3. How we use it
- To price, confirm and operate your ride, including matching the right vehicle.
- To send your confirmation, reminders, driver and vehicle details, tracking link, arrival message and receipt.
- To take payment, issue refunds and apply the on-time pickup guarantee†.
- To handle safety issues, lost property and disputes, and to keep accounting and tax records.
- To ask once, after a completed ride, for optional feedback.
5. Tracking and booking links
Your tracking link is private, hard to guess and expires. It shows your driver approaching; it doesn't give anyone ongoing access to a driver's location. Links to manage or pay for a booking are private and expire too. Please don't share them.
6. Texts and emails
We send messages about your booking and ride. Marketing messages, if we send any, are separate and need your consent. Consent and unsubscribe wording — to be confirmed under Canadian anti-spam law
7. Security
Card details are handled by our payment provider. Private links are long, random and expire. We avoid recording personal details where they aren't needed. Staff access and breach-response statement — to be supplied
8. How long we keep it

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you. Access, correction and complaint process — to be drafted under applicable Canadian privacy law
